As usual, its that time of the year..Hubbys's Birthday..huhuuuu..
Makin banyak dah kedai yang ada lobster ni..one after another..and this is no exception..just opened early this year and business is good..
Memang ramai orang, full house masa kitorang datang tu..

Open kitchen but it's on the 1st floor. Wow interesting..something new..kitchen kat tingkat atas..

Complimentary bread..butter tu memang perfect...macam ada peanut..kalau I ckp peanut butter terbayang yang kita makan utk breakfast tu, tapi yang ni tak terlalu thick and tak manis.

This appetizer is to die for...a must order...Portobello mushroom fries...Wow.. combination mushroom dengan tepung dia memang perfect, and the house sauce tu goes really well.. Tepung tu sedikit masin la kalau makan back to back..tapi kalau ngap sikit, sikit memang awesome.

Nama kedai pun Steaks and Lobsters, so apa lagi order steak dengan lobster la...huhuuuu

So hubby order Grass Fed Sirloin..dan yang pasti..Medium done..
The steak cooked to perfection, and datang dengan 4 sides- salad, fries, mashed potatoes and coleslaw...
Mashed potatoes tu memang terbaik..delicious to the max.. Best of all its all refillable.

Wallahh...this is mine... Signature Flaming Boston Lobster...fuuhhhh..mantap..lobster masak dengan perfect..just right..comes with Aioli sauce..

So kalau rasa-rasa teringin nak makan lobster you guys can put this place in you list..

Birthday Celebration - Shell Out Seafood Restaurant

Wow..this place dah open few years back, tapi suddenly lately ni boom pulak..hehehe..so where there is a crowd, I will come..
Basically restaurant seafood serving it Cajun style..ala-ala Amerika la...
Cara serving simple..campak atas meja, makan pakai tangan..
Meja of course ada lapik la..ada kertas kalis minyak on every table..

Ordering style simple, pilih seafood apa nak - crabs, lala, crawfish, udang..etc
then style masakan - ada 4 to choose from , we tried Shell Bang & Lemon Pepper with different spiciness level.
 Pastu pilih la kalau nak letak Add Ons- broccolli, corn, potato or sausages.

Its our birthday - 7 September..both on the same date.

Basically food here to me is much tastier-ada rasa rempah2 skit, tapi kurang sikit pedas kalau nak compare dengan kat Crab Factory (my earlier entry). So depends on citarasa masing-masing.
Price wise, our damage here around RM450 camtu..for 6 adults & 2 kids..hmm ok-ok la..seafood kan, what do you expect..so it depends on what u order, kalau king crab sorang seekor lagi la mencanak harga kan..Sendiri mau ingat la..:P

On a side note, as a foodie, tempat yang crowded macam ni , always, always,always make a reservation. Service is fast, tapi makan seafood bukannya cepat mcm mkn nasi..so expect to wait for more than 1 hour la kalau u walk in, especially on weekends.
Kitorang ni pun booking 2 weeks in advance tau.

KGB - Killer Gourmet Burger

Aduhai, lamanya kita bertiga tak hangout sekali...Ira baru dpt baby baru..so habis je pantang cepat-cepat makcik ni roger ajak nak lepak2..sangap dah duk rumah lama..Hehehe

Coincidently, September is my birthday..so ala-ala birthday treat gak la..
Mcm biasa tempat yg paling neutral, Bangsar. Area ni dok tengah2 dari kitorang. So fair and square..
Masalahnya sebab dah selalu sangat port kat Bangsar ni, dah buntu kedai mana nak try pulak.
Mula-mula Kathy suggest Eat Me..pastu google skit, kedai tu desserts je..ala..nak makan dinner..
Ok, then carik balik decided kita try KGB..I tak la berat sangat nak try, burger tak termasuk dalam senarai favourite food I. Tapi si Ira ni memang favourite dia.. Ok la, kasi can meraikan sempena lepas pantang..Huhuhu...

This burger bakar craze macam dah suam2 je skarang ..kalau dulu one after another orang bukak kedai burger.. So KGB ni antara yang dah lama gak..Kitorang je yg x pernah try lagi..food must be good sebab kedai bertahan lama..and they've just open up a new branch kat TTDI (restoran Mohsin lama).

Rupanya KGB ni betul2 sebelah Eat Me..(same owner kot)

Our dinner for tonite

Bella Bomb - grilled chicken, portobello mushroom, triple cheese, and special sauce

Bobcat - beef patty, jalapeno mayo, cheese, roasted green chilli

Chillis galore

Bash - grilled burger, beef bacon, cheese, caramelized onions and yang special, maple cornflakes..

Double portobello mushroom...nice...

Wah memang best burger-burger kat sini..Burger lovers out there..should give this joint a try..It goes second in my list of best burger joint, first would be Burger Lab.

Highly recommended especially my burger Bobcat tu, pedas...memenuhi citarasa.

Fuego - South American Tapas

A special occasion with my bestfriend.. Birthday dinner treat for Chubah...This was our second attempt to dine here, first time tu mcm ad hoc skit..call pun dah lewat..so it was fully booked...

This time around, booked 2 days earlier..heheheh..
Woh lupa nak intro..this placed is called Fuego. Its part of Troika Sky Dining. Ada 4 rooftop restaurants, serving different market segment.. Fuego serves South American Tapas.
A first for me to taste South American food in particular tapas..
Ada 2 seating time untuk booking, at 6.30pm and 8.30pm..so kitorang booked the 6.30pm punya slot..so that we can enjoy KL's sunset overlooking KLCC...breathtaking view indeed..

Sampai2 ja..camwhoring session la..hehehe..duduk pun blum..:)

Lepas puas bergambar, barulah decide nak makan apa..hehehe
So here goes our order,

Salmon Roe Guacamole

The guacamole to is by far my favourite appetizer.. smashed avocado, tomato and italian parsley..and best of all red chilli (cili padi!!!)..Perghhh pedas terangkat... We even had some with our rib-eye..That's how much we love it..hehehe

Salt cod croquettes -seaweed crust, shiso leaf gremolata & salmon roe mayo. A unique take of the usual croquette.. Two thumbs up!!! 

Soft Shell Crab- crispy , crunchy...enjoyed every bite

Australian Grass Fed Rib Eye - medium done..cooked to perfection

Overall, dining here is quite an experience..great food with superb dining view...make sure to request seats at the balcony..
Food ordered nampak macam sikit, tapi bila dah makan kenyang teramat, we didn't even got the chance of ordering dessert..Memang simply puas hati with the food..
To those thinking of celebrating a special occasion, this is THE place to be..highly recommend the restaurant..
