The Saddle Coffeehouse

Thanks to my good friend Faezah for organizing the event. Iftar with ex-Lenovoians (is there such a thing..hheeh). Well tak semua la ex-Lenovo, yang still kat sana pun ada jugak.

Saddle Coffeehouse is at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian Club. To my surprise ingatkan tak ramai orang, bila sampai.. penuh.. kat luar, dalam semua pun ada seat.. Hmmm memang untung meniaga masa Ramadhan ni.. :)

Our seat kat luar..poolside..dekat BBQ station...jenuh makan asap..my advice, try mintak duduk kat dalam. sejuk skit.

Overall food was ok, nothing stands out sangat.. grill lamb dia sedap especially the sauce..yummmss..

Bila buffet ni we are spoilt for choices, I pulak bukan jenis makan byk sgt..hmmm nyamah2 jela..tu yang tak gemor pergi buffet. Apa yang penting, I am among friends yang dah lama tak jumpa...

Again Faezah, thanks for organizing the mini-reunion. Jarang2 dah dapat jumpa skarang nie. Kalau tak dulu everyday bfast & lunch kat uptown tu..sometimes mkn free lagi.. :P..

Worlds Best Coffee - so it claims...to be honest, its not to my taste.. We're here solely cause hubs bought a groupon deal where you pay if i'm not mistaken RM19 and get a voucher worth RM40.

The chain originates from Riyadh,Saudi Arabia..so far there's about 10 outlets in KL, we went to Solaris Mont Kiara outlet. 

So here's our choice..

Ice blended mocha & cafe latte - mocha is just ok, while latte is good

Oreo cheese cake - little too sweet to my liking

Chocolate cream cake - also too sweet

So all in all, coffees is just ok, while cake is too sweet. Hmm anyway got another voucher to use, so we'll opt for coffee only.. :)

Las Vacas

Las Vacas started out as a place to buy quality meat by couple of guys in Kelana Jaya, tapi end up jadi steak house sebab, org yg dok beli daging tu suh diorang masakkan sekali..

There are other outlets in KL, but we went to the one in Mont Kiara.

• Layout restaurant ni biasa2 je..yelah kat dalam tu dia jual meat jugak..so kira ala2 meat shop / steak house la..
• Beef wraps & beef bruschetta is a must try..rugi kalau tak order..
• Malay owned joint, so no need to worry about keHalalan nya..

Best Ribs in Town ..nuff said..
Hehehe..kat mana lagi..but Tony Romas..kalau dulu tak biasa makan ribs..kalau pegi steak house mesti order steak la..tapi sekali dah cuba ribs kat sini..fuuhhh..mmg teringat je la..
Dah try order ribs kat tmpt lain, Victoria Station, Jake's, Outback..mmg tak bley celen la ribs at Tony Romas..
Ni outlet yg dekat 1 Mont Kiara, ada byk jugak outlet dia kat KL ni.. so do look up their website.
