The Saddle Coffeehouse

Thanks to my good friend Faezah for organizing the event. Iftar with ex-Lenovoians (is there such a thing..hheeh). Well tak semua la ex-Lenovo, yang still kat sana pun ada jugak.

Saddle Coffeehouse is at the Bukit Kiara Equestrian Club. To my surprise ingatkan tak ramai orang, bila sampai.. penuh.. kat luar, dalam semua pun ada seat.. Hmmm memang untung meniaga masa Ramadhan ni.. :)

Our seat kat luar..poolside..dekat BBQ station...jenuh makan asap..my advice, try mintak duduk kat dalam. sejuk skit.

Overall food was ok, nothing stands out sangat.. grill lamb dia sedap especially the sauce..yummmss..

Bila buffet ni we are spoilt for choices, I pulak bukan jenis makan byk sgt..hmmm nyamah2 jela..tu yang tak gemor pergi buffet. Apa yang penting, I am among friends yang dah lama tak jumpa...

Kee's Creampuff - heavenly creampuffs

Kee's Creampuffs is the place for the best creampuff in KL.
Kedai dia kecik je..it's on the first floor, and its a sublet to Mahogany Guitar Store in Bangsar..so senang la nak carik.. 
The other famous puff in town is Beard Papa tu..tapi yg ni different skit..the puff is served cold and its not as crunchy as beard papa's. but it's still fresh and tak lembik..
Best part is the cream filling la..taste is very rich and paling sedap its not too sweet..
When it comes to desserts, I prefer yang tak terlalu manis, just nice je..if not its a big no..no..

There's three type of puffs here, one is plain/original which is sold at RM1.50/pc. Then there's flavoured ones at RM1.80/pc (lemon, coffee, green tea etc). 
The last is the specialty puff, at RM2.50 each (durian, cream cheese, etc)..

Tried the original, lemon and durian..semua sedap but....

My ultimate favourite... Durian Cream Puff....yummmmyyyy...sapa yang suka/hantu durian should give this a try...the taste of durian memang perfect...best part..you can get this all year round..hehehe
If you like durian crepe..this is way better!!!! Durian crepe sesetengah tu mix with whipped cream banyak sgt..so you can't taste the durian sgt..
But here its totally good quality durian..memang besttt!!!!

Selain cream puffs, there's also cakes..tapi tak banyak la..ada choc moist, choc cheese & red velvet..
So we give the choc moist a try, and to me its good too..the cake is moist and choc not too sweet..quite an ok choc cake..

Husband dok sebut byk kali dah nak try mkn Pizza ni..konon teringat time kat US mkn pizza slice tepi jln ..cehhh... I buat tak reti je..iyela pizza ni teman tak gemo sgt.. :P Gitu..gitu je..

Last weekend, since my niece Rania ada, so nak la bawak dia kluar jalan2..apa lagi..hubby cepat je ckp try kedai pizza kat bangsar tu..hmmmm..ok finee!!!!

At first ingat kat dalam Bangsar Village, rupanya kat luar..kat jalan telawi..nasib hubby dah tau location, kalau tak ada yang park kat BV..

Woo, restaurant interior is full of New York's memorabilia..macam ada kat NYC y'all..

They it goes here is you take a seat, take your pick from the menu, then order at the counter.
Pizzas comes in slices or satu pan pun bole..1 pizza slice mmg besar, kenyang sipi2 la..kalau nak kenyang betul2 i think better order 2 slices.. Pizza slice range from RM9-RM15.

Sides - there's buffalo wing (boneless) & waffle fries (french fries in waffle cut)

This is the pizza counter - take your pick or if its not here, kena tunggu 10-15 minutes for pizza to be ready.

If you're truly a pizza fan, then u should try this, kalau macam i yg tak minat pizza...hehehe..great place kalau nak hangout..
Oh and the pizza here is of the thin crust type (mmg Americans mkn pizza yg camni)..
Time makan pun orang dok keluar masuk kedai, walaupun tak crowded but the traffic is there..so maknanya pizza dia sedap la kan.. :)

Boat Noodle - 1 is just not enough :)

Latest craze in town.. noodle served in small bowl..portion ciput je..so kena la order banyak..that's why each table bertimbun-timbun mangkuk atas meja.
This place kat Empire Damansara in Damansara Perdana. Right next to Bangunan MK (PJ Trade Center)- LHDN.

First warning, be prepared to wait in line..especially kalau datang time weekend.. 
my brother kena dah..datang hari Ahad..kena menunggu lama..kedai kecik je..luckily the waiting system is ok..datang je terus bagi nama & how many people kat waiter.. dia akan bagi no..check la sekali currently no berapa..so bole la bajet berapa lama lagi..

Since tempat ni dekat dgn my house, decided datang weekdays je..lepas kerja..hmm ingatkan takde orang, sekali penuh jugak.. tapi queue tak la panjang sangat.. dalam 2 nombor je ke tunggu..ada la 10-15 mins.

Menu sini simple je... ada beef or chicken..pastu pilih nak dry or soup.. tu je...  1 bowl RM1.90..heheh nampak murah kan..tapi psycho je..end up sorang makan more than 5 bowls..
Tapi memang sedap..noodle dia jenis glass noodle (siam style)..yang dry tu macam ada kicap sikit..pastu ada fishball, limau & sayur (tak pedas). The soup type - sama je just add soup la kan..tapi sup dia sedap, rasa masam & pedas..ala2 cam mee celup camtu..
Nak extra pedas letak la lagi chilli kay..

Nampak cam besar..sebenarnya kecik je.. :)
