By now, rasanya mesti ramai yang dah tahu that Nora Danish and the gang ada buka restaurant/coffee shop kat Bangsar, Kopi & XoXo. Mana taknya, hari2 penuh kedai ni, iyelar, ND kan antrara followers paling banyak on IG, berapa juta follower dah skang ni, mmg ramai la peminat dia.. I ni kategori peminat ke?..Hehehe..minat sesangat, tapi takla fanatik. Basically attracted to her beauty and personality. Very down to earth, humble and tak sombong. 

One fine day, since my sis ambik half day, she called and wanted to have lunch. Apa lagi, laju je ckp Kopi XoXo la.
Kedai bukak kul 12.30, kul 12 dah tercangak dah..memang first customer la gamaknya..hewhew..Ok la..tak la serabut sgt..
Few minutes after that dah start ramai dah, time kitorang makan, kedai dah penuh..pergghhh, business is good....

Menu simple jer sini, tak banyak sgt, very straight forward. Yang byk org order is Bubur Betty,  I nak try ni, my sis pun nak yg ni, hmm takkan dua2 nak makan benda sama. Ok fine I order la lain..black pepper beef set-kalau x sedap siap, nak mengamuk :P
Woh crowd favourite,  goreng pisang cheese - Gorpis pun ada kat sini, tapi sebab awal lagi so diorang belum start.

Betty was in da house, sadly ND takde :( . Have the same exact cardigan, sib baik tak pakai hari tu..

Luckily what I ordered turned out sedap, not bad jugak black pepper beef dia. Beef dia liat sikit, my opinion, patut potong kecik sikit, besau gedabak, tak muat nak suap dlm mulut yg kecik ni :) Best part rasa black pepper dia tak overwhelmed sangat. 
As for the bubur, well bubur is bubur la kan, nak sedap camne lagi, so yang penting is the lauk yang goes with it. In this case the kangkung belacan, to me very sedap. :) Spicy and the kangkung is still crunchy.
Ice cream pulak, we got it as a complimentary, maybe for the first few customers kot. Walaupun free, tapi sedap wei....its orange dried apricot flavour..memang terasa orange tu, mcm orange juice pastu terus bekukan..very very refreshing.. kalau korang ke sini jangan lupa have this for desserts.

Hopefully the cafe lasts, not bcoz of the celebrity status but by its great food and drink at a great location. And from what I had, I think they will.
Hope they will expand the menu with more great food.

Podgy & the Banker

Coffee culture dah mcm cendawan tumbuh..one after another...it seems all this came from the Melbourne coffee scene..hmmm..have to visit there to experience it..one fine day..

Another recent addition to KL's scene is Podgy & the Banker at Sri Hartamas.. Its the same row as My Elephant

Honestly I can't tell the difference between coffee beans. All I know if its good, I'll drink it..heheeh
Stumbled upon this place when we went to My Elephant, and said to hubby we have to come to this place someday..the name itself is very catchy and sort of calling people to drop in..good one!!!

So when my good friend Misbah was in town (she's living in Kuantan), so what good place crops in mind is none other than Podgy.. :)

The coffee is all good here, me being a novice coffee drinker.. :) The dessert is a little to sweet to my taste-buds, but still edible.. All in all a nice and comfy place to chill and hangout with friends and catch up on things..

dr. CAFE COFFEE

Worlds Best Coffee - so it claims...to be honest, its not to my taste.. We're here solely cause hubs bought a groupon deal where you pay if i'm not mistaken RM19 and get a voucher worth RM40.

The chain originates from Riyadh,Saudi Arabia..so far there's about 10 outlets in KL, we went to Solaris Mont Kiara outlet. 

So here's our choice..

Ice blended mocha & cafe latte - mocha is just ok, while latte is good

Oreo cheese cake - little too sweet to my liking

Chocolate cream cake - also too sweet

So all in all, coffees is just ok, while cake is too sweet. Hmm anyway got another voucher to use, so we'll opt for coffee only.. :)

Breakfast kat Bandar Maharani

Muar aka Bandar Maharani..tempat yang special kalau nak breakfast..why?
The only place where you can get Satay for breakfast...
Ni trip kitorang to JB, so ondaway tu masuk Muar semata-mata nak breakfast Satay.

Malangnya kedai yang biasa pegi tu tutup la pulak..RNH Cafe -Satay Maharani. So take note kedai ni tutup hari Jumaat.
Alternatif lain pi la kedai sebelahnya..nama kedai pun lupa dah.. nak pegi kedai ni senang je..betul2 opposite bus stand Muar.. sebelah restoran ada klinik.

All in all, not bad jugak la satay kedai ni, tapi kedai RNH tu lagi famous & dah lama bertapak kat Muar ni..lepas makan next plan ngopi pulak..hehehe

Rempah segera Adami

Ondaway ke kedai kopi (jalan kaki jer), singgah jap kat kedai rempah ni. Brand Adami..memang sedap..my mother in law memang lama dah dok beli rempah dia..dia rencah segera, ada Mee Bandung, Soto, Beriyani, etc..korang harus la cuba iye..my fav. rencah Mee Bandung Muar..kat KL pun ada gak jual brand ni..

Ok, dah beli rempah terus ngopi kat Kedai Kopi 434, sebelum layan kopi ada trivia skit..
Kenapa kopi dia nama 434?

Sebab kedai asal ni no telefon dia 434, percaya tak..3 digit je no fon dia..hahaha, ni zaman 60an da..

Cantik dah decor kedai ni, expand jadi 2 lot kedai..

Cappuccino, latte, espresso, mocha. Sebut je nama2 ni mesti teringat Starbucks & Coffee Bean.
But now there's another place that u can associate with coffees - McDonalds..
Bunyi macam pelik kan..but truth is its been 20 years since McD bukak coffee house called McCafe. First was in Melbourne. And now kalau tak salah since last year dah ada kat Malaysia.First outlet kat Kota Damansara.

Semalam, went to Mutiara Damansara punya outlet since nak pergi the Curve. McCafe ni mmg dok kat dalam McD tu sendiri, but at a different section. Ada counter lain la. The staff are all trained baristas, so mmg tau la how to prepare espresso, latte & seangkatan dengannya.

 Kaunter order burger kat belakang sana tuu..

Memang complete dengan espresso machine, ice blended machine...

What goes well with coffee, desserts la- cheese cake, brownies & muffins. Tapi sebab dah dok dekat McD, apa yg best boleh gak order menu McD yang lain..so makan dengan fries la..nak mkn dgn burger pun bole.. ko mampu ke buat kat tempat lain?

Iced Mocha & Cappuccino - RM6.50(M) & RM5.50(M) each..

Siap ada huruf M lagi kat atas..ko hado...

 Tafsir sendiri la apa maknanya iye..
