Sakae Sushi

Sakae Sushi, rasanya ramai dah pernah makan kedai ni. Peminat-peminat sushi mesti syok punya makan sini..Selain sushi yang freshly made, ordering pakai iPad tu pun agak lain dari lain jugak la.. :)

But me, although its a Sushi eatery, tapi yang I look forward kat sini is not the sushi.. Hahaha..pelik tak..
Pinggan-pinggan sushi dok berjalan kat conveyor sebelah meja tapi tak teruja sangat..
Here's a little bit of my recommendation from the menu..yg sushi tu up to you la ek..tgk mana yg menarik ambik je..price ikut color pinggan..

Honey Ebi Sakura - sweet & crunchy prawn

Tak cukup minum situ, get a box to enjoy it at home, dlm dua puluh lebih sekotak

Basically this is my menu wajib when at Sakae Sushi.. yang paling win is the Salmon Head..something yang kita jarang2 makan, biasa salmon kita makan isi badan je kan, ini kepala salmon grilled with teriyaki sauce, so its kinda sweet and salty..sedap...especially tang mata..heheheh
Another favorite is the japanese green tea. Green tea ni special skit, dia infused with roasted brown rice, so ada bau2 wangi brown rice and ada lain sikit from other green tea.

So when you guys are at Sakae Sushi, do give this a try kay..

Gyu-Kaku - Japanese BBQ

Literallay translated Gyu-Kaku ni maksudnya Bull Horn, but in fact its actually a well known Japanese BBQ.
Memang byk dah branch all over the Japan & US.
So luckily, this chain is brought in by Naza Group, and the best part its Halal.
Currently there are two outlets in KL, one in One Utama and the other in Publika.
My opinion, yang kat One Utama best sikit, the service & dipping sauce is better.
Food dia simple je, pick your type of meat - beef, lamb, chicken. or even seafood.
Kalau beef tu ada macam2 bahagian/cuts.. ikut selera masing2..for me yang wajib..karubi & tongue( yang ni menarik sebab tak nampak mcm tongue at all).
Kalau masyuk sikit (dapat bonus 5-6 bulan ke..heheeh) boleh order wagyu beef..memang la lagi sedap!!!!
Then choose the type of marination..kalau tak sure boleh mintak waiter recommend..
Selain tu ada jugak dish lain eg. salmon, salads, noodle, rice.
Kalau pening jugak nak order apa, boleh try the set menu.. tapi to me the choices tak menepati citarasa..so better pilih sendiri la.. :)

When in a japanese restaurant, Edamame is a must..Selain tu, my new found favorite dish..Horenso Salad...yummmyyy to the max....simple je salad tu, but the dressing yang sedap..
Then when all is done, start BBQ-ing..hehehe..time ni kena la jaga daging tu betul2..kalau leka kang hangus pulak..sia2 je kan...
What's great is its smokeless...pasal kat tepi grill tu ada suction fan..so time grilling tu tak la berasap je kan..
To end the meal, Milk Pudding tu kena try..sedap sangat..rasa dia macam ala2 caramel la..tapi lagi thick  & yang penting tak terlalu manis..

Teppanyaki @ Food Republic

One of my favourite Japanese dishes..tapi yang ni lain macam sikit..biasanya Teppanyaki masakan dia kering je kan..but here, ada sos kuah yang special..pedas..ala2 mcm black pepper sauce..tapi tak la pedas sangat..
Pastu siap ada sayur sawi lagi..kalau tempat lain bagi taugeh je..

Kedai ni dah pergi sejak zaman bujang kala lagi, mula2 dulu bukak kat Mid Valley food court..then food court tu tutup for renovation terus menghilang...
Masa Pavillion baru2 bukak, tengok2 muncul kembali kat food court dia..yeeeaahhhhh...
Sekarang ni pun ada satu lagi outlet kat food court One Utama..
Price wise, satu set tu dalam RM15 kalau tak salah... my favourite is Lamb!!!!

-Mintak extra gravy...nanti dia akan tuang lebih sikit atas daging/ayam tu.
-Siapa yang kuat pedas, mintak sos cili (mcm kat dlm gambar atas)..cili dia pedas..sedap..

Mizu, Japanese Fine Dining

Kalau someday, somehow tetiba perut lapar nak carik Japanese food,
I would suggest uol try out Mizu at Bangsar Village. Price is a tad bit more than your local sushi chain restaurant, but this place is worth every ringgit. Lagipun ni special occasion..My Birthday!!!

Me myself is not a sushi lover, but there one type of sushi yang marvellous dan sedap yang amat..its out of this world..Salmon Cheese Maki....perrhhhh nama pun dah lain macam dah..memang terbaeekk...harus cuba..order ni je pun cukup lah..haha...

Edamame

Kalau pi mana2 Jap Rest., Edamame ni sure ada punya & its a must. Kalau tak salah, this is kacang soya, sekali ngap, terkeluar la kacang tu dari kantung dia..rasa masin2 skit..as a starter sesuai sangat...

Grilled Unagi (Belut) best!

Sushi lain tak order pun coz dah kekenyangan...Salmon cheese maki tu order 2 pinggan ko...hehee..
Desserts tak order pun sebab adjourn to kedai lain for coffee.. :)
